Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of AEO Pro (the “App”), provided by Jofflab (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

The App helps Shopify merchants audit and improve how AI engines reference their stores. Features include AI-readiness audits, citation tracking across ChatGPT / Perplexity / Gemini / Claude, and AI-assisted product description rewriting.

2. Subscriptions & billing

A free plan (one store audit and one product rewrite) is available with no charge and no card. Paid tiers (Starter / Growth / Plus) are listed on the pricing page and are billed monthly through Shopify's App Billing API. Paid plans have no free trial: you are charged when you approve the subscription, and it auto-renews monthly until you cancel. You may cancel anytime in your Shopify Admin.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App to publish misleading or fraudulent content
• Use AI-generated content in violation of Shopify's or third-party AI providers' terms
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent rate limits of the App
• Resell, sublicense, or expose the App's functionality as a separate service

4. AI-generated content

Audits, rewritten descriptions, and other outputs are produced by large language models and may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before publishing it to your store. We do not warrant that AI outputs are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

5. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to your product data and content. You grant us a limited license to process this data solely to provide the App's features. The App itself, including its code, prompts, and methodology, remains our intellectual property.

6. Termination

You may uninstall the App at any time from your Shopify Admin. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE APP IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Lithuania. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vilnius, Lithuania.
